Working while studying is a great way to offset the high cost of graduation in colleges or universities. But finding a decent-paying job is a challenging task that too when you need to balance it with your academics and extracurricular activities.

Getting an online job is the best way to make money online which not only offers legitimate jobs but handsome earnings as well. Having an online job makes you work whenever you want. You can have flexible schedules as per your convenience.

The key is to target jobs related to your skills or hobbies, this way you will stay self-motivated and make more money than working in a departmental store or serving around the tables.

I have always written about work from home jobs for women or moms. Some of them even work for students as well. Have a look. Each and every opportunity mentioned in the blog post is tried and tested. Just grab your favorite one and start exploring the online world!

1. Social Media Manager

The role and responsibility of a Social media manager is to monitor, track and manage the company’s social media accounts. As a student, it is not difficult to take out 2-3 hours during the day and thus, earn really well. As a social media manager, you will be serving as the face and voice of the company on different social media platforms. Your main objective would be to promote the content, bring awareness about the latest products/services, interact with the followers and do everything to gain popularity and branding on all social media platforms.

You can get started by floating your resume on online job portals such as Monster, Shine, etc. Also, you can directly connect with local companies by creating an impressive resume or profile on LinkedIn or Facebook. After gaining beginner-level experience on one social media platform, you can expand your work to other platforms as well.

Expert tip: Target small companies or startups. They are ready to take up freelancers easily than hiring a full-time employee.
